Radio - a major community asset

Community radio contributes to the quality of life wherever it is heard.  It increases participation in the community life - locally, provincially and nationally.

A study conducted in 1996 by « PGF » determined that community radio is a major contributor to the level of activity and job creation in the region covered by its broadcasts. This in turn enhances the contribution of the population towards the community.

French-language radio plays an important cultural role. It exposes its listeners, to a great range of French music (over 65% of the music) while giving Francophone artists a wider public, thereby contributing to their success.
